Arnold, Thomas & Becker are personal injury experts who are proud to act on behalf of people who have suffered injuries – and we’ve been doing so for over 40 years. We are renowned for our professional yet down to earth approach. Our talented team of experts leave no stone unturned in ensuring our clients receive their full entitlements. We fight tenaciously and aggressively to obtain the best possible outcome for all of our clients.
In most cases Arnold Thomas & Becker offer a no-win, no-fee service which means that if a compensation claim is unsuccessful they will not charge any professional fees. They offer an initial free, no obligation interview at which advice is provided together with an overview of potential entitlements.
Established by founding partner Michael J Arnold in 1968, our firm began its practice in personal injury and conveyancing law under the name of Arnold Morgado & Co. Under Mr. Arnold the firm developed a broad Union base. A prominent public figure, Mr. Arnold went on to serve as a Labor member of Victorian Parliament between 1982 and 1988 and was a Judge and Deputy President of the Accident Compensation Tribunal in Victoria between 1990 and 1992.
In 1981, Richard Thomas joined as a partner of the firm, which became Arnold Thomas & Co. In 1984 David Becker joined as the third partner, giving the firm its present name of Arnold Thomas & Becker.
In the past 38 years, Arnold Thomas & Becker has been served by a dedicated group of expert lawyers committed to fighting for the rights of injured people. One of the most prominent figures to be associated with the firm is the renowned Dr Phillip Opas QC, who represented Ronald Ryan, the last man hanged in Victoria.
Over the past two decades the firm has grown steadily and is now one of the largest personal injury law firms in Victoria. Arnold, Thomas & Becker is recognised for the diligent and personalised service it provides to its clients.
