What is a class action suit?
A class action is an action, brought by one person (the “plaintiff”) on his or her own behalf, and on behalf of a group of people (the “group members”) against another person (the “defendant”) where the plaintiff and group members have similar claims against the defendant. If you have a question or would like more information about a potential claim on behalf of a group of people, please contact our office and we would be happy to speak with you. The difference in having Arnold Thomas & Becker represent the plaintiff and group members in your class action is that:
- We are open minded in relation to funding your class action without the necessity of engaging litigation funders who demand a percentage of any sum you are awarded;
- We only act for ordinary Australians (not companies or institutions);
- We have a track record of steadfast commitment to representing groups of people who have suffered injury, loss and / or damage;
- We have been successful in class actions that the larger firms would not take on.
