Gabrielle Verhagen

Lawyer

Gabrielle is based out of our Melbourne office and specialises in Abuse Law, but has experience in WorkCover, TAC and public liability. She loves supporting brave survivors of abuse and helping them on their journey, and providing justice provides a lot of meaning to her.

Gabrielle studied a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University and then Juris Doctor at Melbourne University, followed by GDLP at College of Law. During her studies, she interned at Victoria Legal Aid in the family law and independent children lawyers team. Gabrielle also interned at Amnesty International in Human Rights and volunteered the Womens Director at University, where Gabrielle and her co-director founded a volunteer program to support women experiencing or fleeing domestic violence.

Gabrielle has several years of personal injury experience at other law firms before joining Arnold Thomas & Becker.

Outside of work, she likes taking her two dogs on hikes with her husband, and baking/cooking and entertaining.
