Can I claim if the accident was my fault?
Yes. Victoria’s TAC scheme is no-fault, so you can generally claim benefits like medical costs and income support no matter who caused the accident.
How much will it cost me?

How long do I have to claim?
Usually 12 months from the accident to lodge with the TAC. Late claims can sometimes be accepted up to 3 years, and there is a 6-year limit for common law damages. Call us to check your situation.
