Kiara Maffei Legal Trainee Kiara is based in our Melbourne office working as a legal trainee in the institutional abuse team. Before joining Arnold Thomas & Becker, she worked as a paralegal at another personal injury law firm where she assisted clients with institutional abuse claims and developed an understanding of the important of trauma-informed, client-centred advocacy. Kiara completed a double degree in Law (Honours) and Psychological Science La Trobe University. Kiara’s work is driven by a strong commitment to justice, and she is extremely passionate about advocating for survivors of abuse. Outside of work, Kiara enjoys travelling and trying new restaurants.
