Beatrix Catris Lawyer Beatrix has a passion for helping people understand their legal rights. She studied her undergrad at Monash University doing a double degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance with a third major in Business Law. She spent some time working at a financial institution as a customer service consultant and then worked as an administrator for death, permanent incapacity and financial hardship claims. It was while working in this space that Beatrix decided to pursue a law degree, so she began studying the Juris Doctor at Deakin University. Beatrix also participated in Deakin University’s Legal Clinic, which provided pro bono legal advice in relation to civil and commercial matters. Just prior to joining ATB, Beatrix was a legal assistant for four years at another firm while she was at university. Outside of work, Beatrix likes to try different restaurants, go shopping and watch movies. If she’s not inside a shopping centre or restaurant, Beatrix likes to go for walks in parks and regional towns.
