Kiara Maffei

Kiara is based in our Melbourne CBD office working as a lawyer in the Institutional Abuse team. Prior to joining Arnold Thomas & Becker, Kiara worked as a paralegal at another personal injury firm where she assisted clients with institutional abuse claims and developed an understanding of the importance of trauma-informed, client-centred advocacy.

Kiara graduated from La Trobe University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Psychological Science.

Kiara’s work is driven by a strong commitment to justice, and she is extremely passionate about advocating for survivors of abuse.

Outside of work, Kiara enjoys travelling and trying new restaurants.
